It's almost impossible to cover all distros, graphical environments and VPN frontends out there; this is why we provide you with instructions and screenshots of setting up an Ivacy acount using Ubuntu Linux, one of most widespread distros out there.

To use the following step-by-step instruction you need to install network-manager-pptp package. Use the package manager provided with your distro to find and install it.
Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP)and click Create.
pptp.ivacy.com is the default server address, the closest one to your location.
Hovewer, you can use the following addresses to specify the country you want to be seen from:
pptp-uk.ivacy.com- United Kingdom
pptp-us.ivacy.com- United States
Use Point-to-Point encryption (MPPE)and
Allow stateful encryption.
