Windows XP

Using protocol:
PPTP
IPSec
Open VPN

OpenVPN is a free and open source virtual private network protocol, aimed towards advanced users. It offers strong encryption as well as many advanced options, but requires installation of it's own win32-client and fairly hard to configure. If you aren't familiar with networking and crypto, we suggest you to use PPTP or IPSec.

This is why we offer a preconfigured OpenVPN package where everything is included.

Here is the quick notes on connecting to Ivacy using this preconfigured package:

  1. Download this executable and install it.
  2. Start the OpenVPN GUI via Start → Programs → OpenVPN.
  3. Double-click on OpenVPN icon in your system tray.
  4. Enter your Ivacy login and password and press OK.
  5. If everything went fine, you will be connected to Ivacy.

If you prefer to setup your OpenVPN connection manually, here is all the required configuration files:

Ivacy-client.ovpn

Ivacy-ca.crt

Ivacy-client.crt

Ivacy-client.key

Ivacy-tls.key
